I BREED ALL SHRIMP, SNAILS AND LIVESTOCK MYSELF. They are all homebred, young healthy & disease free!

I GROW ALL MOSSES AND PROPAGATE THEM ALL MYSELF! These are all propogated and grown by SHRIMP LIFE

TROPICA PLANTS are from the Tropica Nursery

WHERE DO YOU SHIP?

SHRIMP LIFE ships all items in the shop ACROSS CANADA, and all dry goods & moss (no other plants) to USA 

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED

SHRIMP LIFE is located in ONTARIO CANADA

CAN I PICKUP MY SHRIMP INSTEAD OF HAVE THEM SHIPPED?

At this point SHRIMP LIFE is a ONLINE business with no retail location, and is not open for local pickup. Its actually easier for me to co-ordinate shipping then it is to make time and organize pickups.  Thank you for understanding

WHEN DO YOU SHIP AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO ARRIVE?

 

Orders containing LIVESTOCK or PLANTS are normally shipped on MONDAYS & TUESDAYS 

Orders Containing DRY GOODS ONLY (no livestock or plants) are shipped throughout the week

 

If your ordering within Canada, Parcels containing shrimp or plants take 1-3 days to arrive. Orders containing only dry goods can take 1-7 days depending on package size and your location

If your ordering from USA, I normally ship 1x a week. Once shipped, delivery takes 5-10 days and is subject to possible delays

You will receive a SHIPPING NOTICE email which contains your tracking number, please keep up with your tracking and sign up for delivery notifications.

DO YOU GUARANTEE LIVE ARRIVAL?

YES! But I ask that you PLEASE READ ALL BELOW this to understand my DOA POLICY... (DOA means "Dead on Arrival")

This policy is designed to protect 1. THE SHRIMP from DYING 2. YOU THE BUYER from RECEIVING DOA SHRIMP 3. ME THE BREEDER from REFUNDING - Failure to adhere to the policy voids any live arrival guarantee

  • All orders containing shrimp or plants are shipped on days based on weather in both locations (seller and buyer)

  • Livestock and Plant orders may be postponed due to extreme weather or postal disruption

  • All orders are packed and insultated according to their needs, heatpacks are used when needed

  • DOA policy does not apply to deliveries made to community mail boxes

  1. I ask the buyer to track their parcel and sign up for shipping notifications (package tracking can suddenly change or update and buyer should be flexible to accomodate this) (sign up on Canadapost.ca or USPS.com to receive automated text or email updates)

  2. Buyer should be available to receive shrimp or plants at time of delivery (1st delivery attempt) If you are in Canada and won't be available for delivery, you can sign up for FLEX DELIVERY (Canada Post) and they will hold your box at the Post Office for pickup

  3. Buyer should inspect bag before opening. If you see dead shrimp in the bag, please take clear photos of the dead shrimp in unopened bag. Take a second photo of dead shrimp out of the bag in a container beside the shipping label (proof of purchase)

  4. Email the photos within 30 minutes of delivery to - shrimplife101@gmail.com

  5. Failure to send photos within 30 minutes voids DOA POLICY (no refund or replacement)   This time is very important as in winter and summer and under other shrimp can quickly die from extreme temperatures

  6. If DOA terms are met, replacement or refund will be issued according to availability

Extra Shrimp count towards DOA. Ex. If you order 10 shrimp, and I send 12, and 2 die, you still have 10 shrimp.  If you order 10 shrimp, I send 2 extra and 4 die, you are left with 8 shrimp. I would owe you a refund or replacement for 2 shrimp
